Wow it is great to be back!

I didn't realize until lately that students did not have access to my library blog.  So now the fire wall is down and we are in business.

What is Happening?

February is the month of love and friendships.  I have several romance and friendship books available on the display shelf.

We will be voting soon for our favorite books for the Truman and Mark Twain nominees.  Let me know what four books you've read, and we will celebrate the winning book in April.

Don't forget about the "Reading Challenge."  If you've completed a challenge you will be allowed to celebrate with us in April!

New books are in and located on the new book shelf.  Looking for our more popular books?  Stop by the check out desk, and put in your reservation!!

B.A.M. has been meeting on Wed. nights.  I hope to have a list up soon of what they have been reading.  We usually have 12-15 students in attendance.  I have at least 20 names on my list of those who have participated.

Author's Pen has been working on a novel.  We hope to have that published soon for your reading pleasure.

Feel free to stop by anytime to visit these groups.

Author's Pen the Writing Club will be meeting on Thurs. after school.

B.A.M.  would like to host its first book fair for the year.  Unfortunately, we have a few obsticles that we need to work through.
This year we will be hosting our first Teen Read Week.  This will be held from Oct. 16th-22nd.

Author's Pen had it's first meeting on Thursday.  We have started our first collaborative story, that we hope to have published.

All are welcomed to join, when they can!
